About the campaign

The purpose of Women Against Lung Cancer is to mobilise women to lead a campaign to defeat lung cancer

Women Against Lung Cancer aims to raise awareness about the risks and prevalence of lung cancer, and to secure funding to make a profound impact on the health of the nation. We intend to:

  • raise awareness of the lung cancer epidemic
  • increase funding for lung cancer research, and in particular, research into the early detection of lung cancer
  • ensure that lung cancer patients receive the best treatment and care
  • free lung cancer patients from blame and stigma

Women will be encouraged to become members of the campaign. Membership will be free but of course donations are urgently needed and will be greatly appreciated. Join Us Now.

There are a number of ways in which women can support Women Against Lung Cancer by campaigning and/or fundraising. These are all set out in the 'Get Involved' section.

This will be a long-term campaign that will work tirelessly and passionately until its aims are achieved.
